Dr. Factor is Professor and Director of the Movement Disorders Program at Emory and Vance Lanier Chair of Neurology. He will assist Dr. Meador in his responsibilities as PI. Dr. Factor has been PI on several trials investigating clinical phenomenology, therapy development and environmental and genetic causes of movement disorders. He is a member of the Parkinson Study Group, Huntington Study Group and Dystonia Study group and has served as an investigator in clinical trials with all three groups and has severed on the executive committee of the later two. He has also acted as the clinical director of the NeuroGenetics Research Consortium which discovered the PARK18 gene.
