Spencer W. Liebel, PhD is an Assistant Professor and Clinical Neuropsychologist in the Department of Neurology at the University of Utah. His research and clinical work focus on traumatic brain injury, especially sport-related concussion.  His program of research uniquely bridges interdisciplinary gaps using novel neuroimaging techniques, neuropsychological assessment, psychiatric symptom measurement, and advanced biostatistical modeling to integrate research findings with actionable clinical interventions. Dr. Liebel is Team Neuropsychologist for the Utah Hockey Club of the NHL, Salt Lake Bees of Minor League Baseball, and U.S. Ski & Snowboard.
