Roger L. Albin, MD is the Anne B. Young Collegiate Professor of Neurology, Associate Chair for Research in the Department of Neurology. He is also Associate Director for Research at the VAAAHS GRECC. Dr. Albin is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine with Neurology residency and Movement Disorders fellowship training at the University of Michigan. His research experience includes significant bench, translational, and clinical research. He has published extensively on Parkinson disease, Huntington disease, Tourette syndrome, and primary dementias. His present research focus is use of PET imaging to understand non-motor features of Parkinson disease. He serves on the Editorial Boards of Annals of Neurology, Neurology, and Movement Disorders.
