P Clark

Dr. Peggy Clark, DNP, is a research nurse, project manager, and pediatric primary care nurse practitioner with a background in parent child nursing and adult education.  She has worked as a study coordinator or project manager in over 30 industry and NIH-sponsored pediatric epilepsy clinical trials.  She was the project manager of the Childhood Absence Epilepsy study, providing site management across 32 centers around the country, including collaborating with Dr. Glauser to design the trial.  She developed a three day “Peggy Boot Camp” to meet the self-identified learning needs of new CAE study coordinators who joined the study team.    She served on two committees for the NINDS Common Data Elements Project for Epilepsy as well as serving on the planning team and as a breakout session leader for the NIH-sponsored INSPIRE Workshop, focused on enhancing participant and provider participation in neurology research.  She has been active in leadership roles in education, management, clinical care and research at Cincinnati Children’s. These include serving as the interim director of the Office of Clinical and Translational Research and as the Advanced Practice Nurse representative on the Clinical Research Professional Leadership Committee.  She has been a board member of the Epilepsy Alliance of Ohio for 12 years.
