Dr. Ezzeddine is Co-Principal Investigator for NeuroNEXT at Wake Forest. Dr. Ezzeddine has broad experience in clinical research, conduct and design of clinical trials in neurology, and has published more than 70 peer reviewed manuscripts and editorials, and given numerous presentations at the major scientific conferences in Neurology. His field of investigation focuses on the use of neuroimaging in acute brain injury, therapeutic trials of ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke, as well as various aspects of therapeutics in neurological diseases. At the University of Minnesota, he was the Principal Investigator for the NIH StrokeNET regional coordinating center, and the Co-Principal Investigator for the Neurological Emergencies Treatment Trials (NETT) Network.
