Joanne Wuu is a Research Associate Professor of Neurology at the University of Miami. As a biostatistician with an applied research interest in the neurosciences, she has collaborated with clinicians and basic scientists studying a broad spectrum of neurological disorders: Alzheimer’s, mild cognitive impairment, frontotemporal dementia, Parkinson’s, Huntington’s, dystonia, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), myasthenia gravis, epilepsy, sleep disorders, fragile-X and fragile-X associated tremor/ataxia syndrome, among others. She currently co-directs the ALS research program and organizes the Neurology Clinical/Translational Research Roundtable at the University of Miami.
