Dr. Danielle Bazer is currently a clinical and research fellow in the joint Johns Hopkins University-National Institutes of Health Neuro-Oncology Fellowship. She focuses on treating patients with primary brain tumors, neurofibromatosis, and the neurological complications of cancer.
Her main research interests include the usage of pre-radiation chemotherapy for WHO grade 4, MGMT methylated and MGMT unmethylated glioblastomas, the role of targeted therapy and the development of brain metastases, and caregiver burnout.
In addition to treating patients and performing research, Dr. Bazer teaches and mentors medical students and undergraduates.
