Christine Annis has 25 years of experience in multiple areas of clinical research in the Department of Neurology at the University of Rochester Medical Center (URMC). She has been the University of Rochester NeuroNEXT Clinical Site Coordinator for all years of funding (2011 – present). Her career as a clinical researcher has been influenced by the diverse research coordination and project management positions held since 1998. These roles have included research assistant, coordinator of single site trials, enrolling coordinator of FDA-funded trials, coordinator for compassionate use protocols, and project coordinator for multiple multi-center trials both national and international. Christine holds a Certification in Clinical Research Coordination through ACRP since 2001, she also obtained a Certificate of Clinical Research Organization and Management in 2008. Additionally, she is a certified administrator and a well-regarded clinical research coordinator at the University of Rochester. Serving as the NeuroNEXT Site Program for all years of the University of Rochester’s funding enables our site to utilize her years of research experience and networking within the University of Rochester, and nationally to enable our Clinical Site to excel as a NeuroNEXT site.
