Christine Annis

Ms. Annis has 20 years’ experience in multiple areas of clinical research in the Department of Neurology at the University of Rochester Medical Center (URMC). She has been the University of Rochester NeuroNEXT Clinical Site Coordinator for all years of funding (2011 – present). Her career as a research coordinator has been influenced by the diverse research coordination positions held over the past 20 years.  These roles have included research assistant, coordinator of single site trials, enrolling coordinator of FDA-funded trials, coordinator for compassionate use protocols, and project coordinator for multiple multi-center trials (one involving international sites). Christine holds a Certification in Clinical Research Coordination through ACRP since 2001, she also obtained a Certificate of Clinical Research Organization and Management in 2008. Additionally, she is a certified administrator and a well-regarded clinical research coordinator at the University of Rochester. Serving as the Clinical Site Coordinator within NeuroNEXT for all years of the University of Rochester’s award has allowed her to leverage 20 years of research experience and networking within the University of Rochester, and nationally to enable our Clinical Site to excel as a NeuroNEXT site.
