Bo Lee, MD

Bo Lee completed her undergraduate degree at Washington University in St. Louis. She completed medical school at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry, where she also completed her pediatric and child neurology residency training, followed by a fellowship in Neurogenetics. She is particularly interested in childhood neurologic disorders with a genetic basis. She sees children with neuromuscular disorders like spinal muscular atrophy (SMA), Duchenne and Becker Muscular Dystrophy (DMD / BMD) as part of the Pediatric Neuromuscular Clinic. She has a special interest in newborn screening and directs the Neuromuscular Specialty Care Clinic for SMA and Pompe disease at UR. Her clinical research interests are in genetic therapies for genetic neurologic disorders and clinical outcome measures.
