Angela Molloy, RN, BSN, CCRP is a Clinical Trials Project Manager at the University of Cincinnati for the CinciNEXT Project. Ms. Molloy has personally overseen the start-up and management of all NeuroNEXT trials at CinciNEXT since starting in December 2013. Ms. Molloy serves as the primary liaison with UC/CCHMC PIs and study coordinators on the NeuroNEXT network grants on clinical issues, protocol related issues, recruitment issues, and patient retention issues. Ms. Molloy’s career has spanned numerous different subspecialties within neurology including multiple pharma and NIH funded trials in movement disorders, multiple sclerosis, neuromuscular disease, stroke, and brain tumor. She also has experience in managing staff and programs by continually mentoring and educating those she works with. Ms. Molloy has been an integral member with promoting the need for a UC/UC Health Research Participant Advisory Council. The dedication to this project over the last two years has now resulted in CTSA/CCTST funding to move forward. She is a member of the International Association of Clinical Research Nurses, a certified clinical research professional through the Society of Clinical Research Associates since 2012, multiple institutional councils, and completed a 6 month Leadership Foundation Program.
Ms. Molloy is actively engaged in network leadership as co-chair for the NeuroNEXT Recruitment, Retention, and Diversity Committee while also co-chairing the NeuroNEXT STEP Coordinator Committee. She is also a member of the NeuroNEXT Education Committee.
