NN112: Broad Institute Press Release, Announces NN112 Begins Enrollment.

Broad Institute has made an official press release announcing the beginning of enrollment for PRiSM(NN112).
NN112 is a gene therapy clinical trial investigating, for the first time in humans, a potential treatment for a rare Prion disease. The drug being tested is a siRNA molecule that was designed to slow the cells production of the Prion protein.
“To finally advance this drug to a human trial is the long-overdue achievement of a longstanding dream, but it’s also the very beginning of learning about this drug’s safety and activity in humans.”
