Liza Smirnoff, M.D. is a neurologist and headache specialist at University of Miami, FL. She completed her undergraduate degree at University of California, Los Angeles, her medical degree at FIU Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine, her residency at University of Southern California, and her fellowship at Stanford University. Her main areas of clinical focus and research include women’s health, and the relationship between sex hormones and migraine. For her NeuroNext fellowship she plans to study the effect of exogenous sex hormones used during IVF on migraine burden.
