Jonathan W. Mink, MD, PhD is the Frederick A. Horner, MD Professor in Pediatric Neurology and Professor of Neurology, Neuroscience, and Pediatrics at the University of Rochester, where he is also Chief of Child Neurology. He received is BA and MA degrees from Wesleyan University and received his MD and PhD degrees from Washington University. He completed training in Pediatrics, Child Neurology, and Movement Disorders at Washington University. He has an active research program focused on Tourette Syndrome, Dystonia, and Batten Disease. He is Associate Director of the Child Neurology Residency Program at the University of Rochester. Dr. Mink is Director of the University of Rochester Batten Center and the University of Rochester Tourette Syndrome Center of Excellence. He is currently President of the Child Neurology Society and is past member of the NINDS Advisory Council. He has received several teaching and mentoring awards including the Neurology Resident Teaching Award and URMC Junior Faculty Mentoring Award. He has published more than 100 manuscripts, books, chapters, and editorials.
